Message Notes from Pastor David:

If we will keep our eyes focused on the end that is yet to be, then we can live in confidence that God is with us and will ultimately triumph.

The call to live with the end in mind is for us (the Church) to point people to Jesus even during these difficult times.

1st Peter 4:7-11

7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore, be self-controlled and sober minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

When we allow the world’s problems to define our actions as God’s people, we cause harm to our overall mission.

Prayer is the key to overcoming our anxiety about life.

Our greatest response to what’s going on in our world today is the love of Jesus.

It’s not about the idea of love or saying I love you but living our words out in our actions.

One promise that we have from Christ is the things we deal with in this life are restricted to this life.

Our promise is tied to the fact that we know the end is yet to be.

When it comes, our lives will continue but will be fully what God wanted them to be.

Our hope is found in Jesus.

Our freedom is found in His death, burial and resurrection.
