Fulfilling our God-given calling involves faithfulness, obedience, and sacrifice.
We must learn to recognize the God-given opportunities in front of us every day.
Text: Exodus 3:1-12
Be Where You Are
Moses was doing what he knew to do, tendingsheep for his father-in-law.
Before we can expect to do what, we believe God is ultimatelycalling us to, we must be faithful with where He’s alreadyplaced us.
Be faithfulthere even though it may not be exactly where you want to be or your goal.
There’s greatpower in doing what we do well.
GoOver
Moses was tending to their sheep, but when he saw the burningbush, he wenttowards it.
Following God means we recognize when He’s speaking and where He’s working and we join Him there.
It may not be a burningbush, but we should still press in when we feel Him calling.
We’ll be uncomfortable at times, but when we see a need or see Him working, it’s alwaysworth pressing in.
Getting to There
We have a call to live a life of purpose.
We have gifts and passions that God wants us to use for Him at a place in which He’s preparing for us.
This call can change, but we must continue to seek that place.
We must learn to recognize the God-given opportunities in front of us every day.
Are you recognizing the opportunities around you?
What can you do now to move toward your call?
Your calling is for more than what you’re doing, at least the way you’re doing it.
What this means is that, withGod, we can take our daily routine and give it reason.
